Carmel by the Sea...a seaside engagement party at sunset

I had the honor of photographing Aswitha and Mayur’s engagment party + ring ceremony in the beautiful seaside town of Carmel by the Sea in California this January. What a wonderful start to the new year!
We met in 2023 during DC’s spectacular cherry blossom festival for their engagement photos. The evening began with Aswitha & Mayur greeting their guests at a silent disco on the Hyatt’s patio overlooking the coastline. At sunset, they held their ring ceremony surrounded by loved ones. Then, after more music and dancing, we went into the dining room for dinner.

I couldn’t ask for a nicer couple as a photographer - easygoing, easy to laugh, and always smiling. It was a pleasure to help Aswith & Mayur celebrate their engagement with their family and friends in such a beautiful setting. Congratulations you two!
